[HIGH FIVE] We gave a High Five to Misha Lee (@hangrymother), Manager at F45 Shirlington and F45 NoMa, and District Manager for Traction Group LLC.

WellcommDC: Where do you work…out?

Misha Lee: You can find me at F45 Shirlington, F45 NoMa, CUT SEVEN, The Crate Performance and anywhere outside.

WDC: What does wellness mean to you?

ML: To me, wellness is all-encompassing health and well-being. It includes emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical growth—constantly learning while mastering the art of being present. It’s also the energy you choose to surround yourself with. I’m proud to be part of a healthy and loving community that welcomes everyone—one that inspires each other to grow and become better in all aspects of life, especially wellness.

WDC: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?

ML: My wellness goals for this year, would be to spend less time worrying & more time being present & grateful. Connecting with more like-minded people, that are enjoying their fitness journey as well. It would also be a huge plus to hit my yearly goal of clean & jerking my body weight. This definitely gets tougher every year but I still love it!

WDC: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?

ML: The first people that come to mind are SO MANY & it brings me pure joy to say that: my son Nathan, Rachel Lee (@rachelamberlee), Sofia Grant (@hotbabyman), Ria Walden (@riapwal), Young Ho Matthew Pleta-Lee (@holeeshiznit), Tina Menez (@tina_m012), Cara Heads Slaughter (@caraheadsslaughter), Nicholas Ryan Dakes (@dick_nakes), Juan Marcano Cheng (@juanmrcn), Samantha Johannesen (@sam_johannesen), Milica Kremenovic (@milikrem), Ashley Tugwell (@actugwell), Caroline Ruckstuhl (@c_rucky), Ashley Arias, (@theashleydc), Tony Lee (@_rice_cube_), Kelly Combs (@freeyoursoulfit), Claire Mannion (@clairequigley), Madeline Roza (@madelineroza), Daniel Gamez (@wdgamez), Peyton Wilde (@peyton_wilde), Rachel Baptiste (@rachaelbap), Luciana Gordon-Smith (@lgordonsmith), Marita Mathe (@maritamathe5), Carolina Marino (@queen.of_overthinking), Michael Sison (@mikesison_stayingfit), Aleny Serna (@a13ny), Coach Kimmey (@kimmyann34), Mike Driscoll (@friscoll), and Brie Dessaure (@iambriedessaure).

I hope I didn’t forget anyone but my tribe always understands.

WDC: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?

ML: Find something that challenges you while also bringing you joy. I believe our minds and hearts thrive on growth and creation. This applies to nearly everything we do on a daily basis.
